really strange how on the parts where my hand made more pressure onto the scanner, its actually scanned all the tiny lines on my hands, it seems to work really well on the black area,

sorry about the angle of the picture, i had to like try and deflect the flash away from the image, puppeteer, i cant figure out why i did it, probably a combination of watching Pinocchio last week, whilst on the other side of the moon. also i had to get some photos done for my passport, and as i was sat in the machine, all these instructions about what i can and cant do, how i have to look, the expression i have to do, all these things, i just felt like a complete clone, it felt more like a brain washing both than anything. for the few minutes i was in there, i was the puppet to a talking box with a curtain, responding to its requests. taking orders from a figure of authority and doing what they want you to do is one thing, but even the photobooths are telling us hpw to be better humans. maybe i should move to the forest instead of complaining so much ahhaha — sorry about the angle of the picture, i had to like try and deflect the flash away from the image,

hey guys!

This guy always inspires me with what he does. He was the one who kind of showed me working on a larger scale was good, be more expressive, just be free with what you do, you dont have to keep it confined to a sketchbook all the time. Use paint, ink, pencil charcoal or whatever, and just go with what feels right, you dont have to map it out just keep going until you like what you’ve done. He taught me to not really be afraid of my work, and thats important, you shouldn’t really care what people think about your work. i’m so glad you have found you;re own inspiration in some things i’ve said or done, its an amazing feeling to impact another person with my view on art, and my work. thankyou so much becca, it means the world to hear all this :)

so often im just adding and adding stuff to things im working on, random things i just feel i want to put somewhere, all my paintings turn into slight diary’s, i’ll progressively add aspects of time. but i thought, why dont i take away from an image„ and tear in new sections, like this dude thats the texture of the underneath cardboard.its quite a strange feeling to take away depth from an image, but still adding an element to the foreground of the image, the aspect that i took away, actually looks more added than removed., confusing — so often im just adding and adding stuff to things im working on, random things i just feel i want to put somewhere, all my paintings turn into slight diary’s, i’ll progressively add aspects of time.

my mum thinks im addicted to aresols cos my room smells of spray paint half the time. she actually had a concerned word with me about it lol!
